Hi Laura, I think it is likely. Earthing should definitely help people feel more grounded, which has both physiological benefits (e.g. Decreasing inflammation, hence enabling our body to heal faster) as well as psychological benefits (e.g. Feeling calmer, hence our body is not in the fight-flight response which should mean less cortisol (stress hormone) and better functioning of the immune system). Have you ever noticed that there is no chance of earthing in hospitals (at least not in those I have seen) where it might be most needed? People usually cannot even see out of the windows, no plants, no pictures of nature, no sounds of nature (not even mentioning the diet containing tons of sugar and non-organic ingredients). No wonder people dislike to be in hospitals – they are so detached from their natural environment (nature). Thank you Hanicka for such a thoughtful articulate reply!!! I agree fully with you. We know absolutely by blood tests that just like you say, cortisol levels are decreased with earthing and inflammatory blood markers are decreased as well — absolutely this will translate into cancer and survival benefits, we just need a study not funded by a pharmaceutical company and as you know, that is exceedingly rare!!!! Much love your way… xoxo, Laura
